Washing tips
Read the washing instructions in your clothes: Always check the washing label to find the recommended washing instructions. This contains information about the suitable water temperature, drying methods and any other special instructions.
Sort by color and fabric: Sort clothes by color and fabric to prevent colors from bleeding or that
substances are damaged. For example, wash dark colors separately from light colors.
Close zippers and hooks: Close zippers, hooks and buttons to prevent them from damaging other clothes during washing.
Use the correct water temperature: Cold water is usually suitable for colored clothes to prevent color fading. Use warm water for whites and to kill bacteria.
Avoid overcharging: Do not overload the washing machine as this can reduce washing efficiency and damage clothes.
Check if pockets are empty: Check the pockets of your clothes before washing them. Remove items such as tissues, coins or other small objects that could cause damage.
Use laundry bags for delicate items: For delicate garments such as lingerie or fine knitwear, using laundry bags is a good way to protect them from friction and wear.
Tips for drying
Separate the load by substance type: Dry similar fabrics together. Quick-drying fabrics, such as towels, can be dried with other heavy materials, while lighter and delicate fabrics should be dried separately.
Use low temperature for delicacy: Dry delicate fabrics at a lower temperature to prevent damage.
Avoid overcharging: Do not overload the dryer as this will restrict air circulation and may increase drying time. In addition, your laundry is less likely to wrinkle if the dryer is not overloaded.
Use low heat for delicate fabrics:When drying delicate fabrics, use a low temperature to avoid damage. Some dryers have special settings for delicate clothes.
